When you can observe a mistake without anger or guilt at yourself, you’re more likely to learn from it and less likely to repeat it.
For various reasons, it’s difficult to offer ourselves grace and mercy, and instead, we condemn ourselves with shame, guilt and anger.
I want you to think about some of the decisions you’ve made in the past, the ones that bring up uncomfortable feelings, and I want you to tell yourself something: I am not my mistake, and I can learn from this. I am worthy of love, forgiveness, mercy and grace.
