Hi everyone,
When someone starts a sentence with, “You should …” your choices are being diminished.
Do any of these sound familiar?
“You should try …”
“You should go … “
“You should come …”
“You should do … “
In some instances someone probably has good intentions when they use the word “should” to make a suggestion or even attempt to offer encouragement. But many times using the word “should” projects shame and takes away your options.
